Satellite and Wireless was created in December 2003 with the aim and objective of positioning itself within the emerging 802.11x market.

Directors from 4 Brisbane companies have come together to achieve a synergy that encompasses Supply, Technology, and Marketing. Investment into R&D from early 2002 has enabled Satellite and Wireless to expand a working network using 802.11x wireless technology around the Brisbane area. This technology is not only utilizing localised building hotspots (ie Coffee Shops) but also encompasses whole Brisbane suburbs (See Map). Our specialties include supplying wireless Internet to very hard to get to areas like Marinas and rural areas. Read more about the technology in the Technology Overview section.
It is the future aim of Satellite and Wireless to reach remote and urban areas of Australia with a Hybrid Wan system using 802.11x, and Satellite Networking Technologies.
